Function box not providing output to rocket.

Hi,

I have an output from a Multimeter measuring velocity in the X-axis. This is connected to the input of a function box, the output of which is connected to a rocket.
When the multimeter moves in the x-axis, the function box is set to give a parabolic output relationship. This means if the multimeter were to move in the positive or negative x axis, I'd expect the rocket to fire. The problem is I get no output signal from function box measured on an oscilloscope, nor does the rocket fire. What am I doing wrong? I don't have anything connected to the function box switch, is that a problem?
If I hook the multimeter up to the rocket directly, It doesn't fire either, but I know its giving an output to an oscilloscope.

Anyone have any ideas?

I set up a rocket, function box, and input box. The oscilloscopes are in red. When I add input it goes through the function box and affects the output (input to the rocket) according to the parabola function.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

This is essentially the set up I have, instead of the input being say, a keyboard key press (which I think you might have you in your photo), its the axis velocity of a multimeter, yet it just doesn't work. I did some fiddling and got something close via a different method, just can't remember what it was right now.

I'm using a slider input so I could test if the function box was working. If you use a regular keypress it's going to be a full 1 or a full -1 output.
